We are incredibly proud of our students who have been out there representing their clubs, our region and themselves across a huge range of sports and activities!
Over Labour Weekend, six of our Puketapu students competed at the North Island BMX Championships in Hāwera. Harry, Harvey, Bethany, Mila, Emme and Cooper rode with passion, determination and incredible commitment, showing fantastic team spirit and supporting one another and their fellow New Plymouth Sharks BMX riders.
For some, it was their first major BMX New Zealand event, with riders also achieving personal best times along the way!

Cambridge Cup Football
James Smith and Ben Engels took to the field at the Cambridge Cup, playing in a combined team made up of players from Bell Block, Waitara and Peringa. Ka pai, boys!

Alizeyh Tuhaka and Tyler Kenny proudly represented Taranaki at the Hoop Nation Basketball Tournament in Tauranga over the weekend. Awesome mahi, boys!

Pippa Perkinson represented the region at the Rangitīkei Highland Dancing Championships over the weekend, placing an impressive 5th overall! Pippa also took time out on Friday to visit a local rest home and dance for the residents, sharing her talent and bringing some joy to their day. What a beautiful way to give back to the community!

And a few weeks ago, Taine McKenna and Hamuora Adams also represented our region at the BBNZ Under 14 Central Regionals Tournament in Wellington. Ka rawe, boys!

We are so proud of you all and love seeing our Puketapu tamariki giving things a go, challenging themselves and shining in their chosen activities!
