Yesterday, 25 of our Year 5 & 6 students headed to Hickford Park to take part in the Tackle 5’s Rugby Tournament and what an awesome day it was! 
A huge thank you to TRFU for putting together such a well-organised event. The weather turned it on, and our tamariki made the most of a fantastic day out on the field.

All three of our teams, Ngā Matā, Ngā Taniwha, and Ngā Toa Wahine represented our kura with pride, showing our school values throughout the entire day. It was awesome to see the teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination on display.
A special shout out to our Ngā Toa Wahine team, who won all of their games (even though scores weren’t officially kept!), what an incredible effort!
Overall, it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all. Ka rawe, everyone!
