ANZAC Day – School Closed MondayTomorrow we pause to acknowledge ANZAC Day, a time to remember and honour those who served and sacrificed for our country.
As a result, school will be closed on Monday as it is the public holiday observed day.
This week our tamariki have been learning about the meaning of ANZAC Day and reflecting on its importance. As part of this, crosses have been placed at the front of our school as a symbol of remembrance.
One of our senior students, Carlos Macioce, captured a beautiful moment of our new entrants with their teacher Whaea Moana, quietly looking at the crosses, a special reminder of the care and respect our tamariki are showing.
