Lifesaving Addition to Our School
Puketapu School is proud to now have a defibrillator (defib) installed on site, located at the front of our school office.
This important addition was made possible thanks to funds raised from last year’s cross country event. It’s a fantastic example of how our school community comes together to support initiatives that make a real difference.
The defibrillator is available not only for our school, but also for the wider community to use in the unfortunate event of an emergency. Having quick access to this equipment can help save lives, and we are grateful to be able to provide this resource for our area.
A huge thank you to our dedicated Home and School team for organising this project, and to Whaea Micaela and Mr Quince for ensuring everything was installed and ready to go here at school.
This is something we can all be proud of—working together to keep our community safe.
