What a fantastic way to finish Term 2! After Friday’s assembly was postponed due to the weather, we were thankful that today was fine enough to walk over to Northpoint Church and come together as a school to celebrate the end of an awesome term.
A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts, Addy and Channing, who did an amazing job leading us through the welcome, waiata and sharing the top stories from around the school. 
Cross Country CelebrationsWe recognised our top three place-getters from this year’s Cross Country and celebrated our Whānau results:
4th – Kiwi 3rd – Tuī
2nd – Pīwakawaka
1st – Kākāpō 
A fun Kahoot! challenge had everyone laughing and brought out plenty of friendly competition, followed by Just Dance, which had the whole school up on their feet and moving!
Room 16 proudly shared their beautiful Matariki artwork, which is now on display in the school office. We also presented the Year 6 Warring Cup to Lucas Speedy from 2025. As this was a shared award, Sophie McGovern proudly held the cup for the first half of the year before passing it on to Lucas today.We were treated to an amazing performance from our school band- Joel, Callum, Skylar, Alexander, Fletcher and Leo (absent).
