Duffy Role Model Assembly!

Today our Year 0–6 tamariki were lucky enough to take part in our Duffy Role Model Assembly with an incredibly inspiring guest, Taranaki-born Tali, aka MC Tali!

Tali is an award-winning, internationally renowned vocalist, composer, music producer, public speaker and published author. She has toured the world, worked with some of the biggest names in Drum and Bass, performed at major festivals, and recently released her 10th studio album, Empress Era, which reached #3 on the Aotearoa album charts!

Our tamariki loved listening to Tali share her journey, experiences and the importance of following your dreams. It was awesome to see them engaged and inspired by her kōrero.

We also had the very special job of recognising our Duffy Champions for their commitment to reading and helping champion a love of books across our school.
