This week we celebrate Vaiaso o le Gagana Sāmoa (Samoan Language Week), recognising the rich language, culture, traditions, and contributions of the Samoan community in Aotearoa.
The Samoan language is an important part of New Zealand’s cultural identity, and we encourage our tamariki to learn, share, and celebrate Samoan words, songs, stories, and customs throughout the week.
Let’s embrace the opportunity to learn something new and celebrate the diversity that makes our school community so special.
(Happy Samoan Language Week!)
