At Puketapu School we believe that our students contribute to their learning, their whanau and their community, they are communicators, they are kind to themselves, others and their environment, they are learners, they have a strong sense of belonging and they look after their own wellbeing.

Are you a kind and courageous kaiako looking to be part of a collaborative team?  We are seeking three inclusive teachers to be part of our team, starting Term 1 2023.

There is the possibility of leadership units attached dependent on experience, please make your areas of expertise clear. Please also include your preferred year level to teach, the reasons why this is your preferred year level and any other relevant information to make it clear that you are the kaiako for us.

We are looking for people who:

• Will bring the curriculum alive through the use of play, literacy, te Reo, the Arts, music, sport, digital technologies and more
• Will collaborate with other teachers to personalise the learning for all akonga
• Have a passion for taking the learning outside of the classroom
• Hafe excellent empowerment, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Are team players who contribute to all aspects of life at our Kura
• Are innovative and willing to try new ways of approaching education.

• Scale A Teacher (Junior School) Permanent - ref: 1HAXHP
• Scale A Teacher (Senior School) x 2 Fixed Term 1 Year, 2 positions - ref: 1HAXHK
