Todayβs assembly was filled with PINK for Pink Shirt Day
Today two new leaders grabbed the mic and took on the challenge of presenting our assembly, and wow did they do an amazing job! Sophie McGovern and Georgia-Lee Scrimgeour confidently shared our top stories and upcoming events with the school. Ka pai girls!
We also had a Just Dance session which, as always, lifted the happiness levels and got everyone smiling and moving

Congratulations to our Assembly Values Award recipients this week:
We then shared a very sad goodbye with Whaea Birte, whose last day with us is today. Whaea Birte is heading to Australia for a new adventure. She has brought so much joy, kindness, and happiness to our kura and will be deeply missed by both staff and students
A passionate and emotional haka and waiata was performed for her, with plenty of tears shared. Thank you for everything, Whaea Birte. We wish you all the very best for your next chapter
