SUPER HERO DAY! Today our kura was filled with capes, masks, and super powers as we celebrated Super Hero Day — raising awareness and acceptance for Autism in a fun and meaningful way! 
Our tamariki came dressed as superheroes to show off their own unique super powers and to support our cause. Together, we raised $150 which will be donated to Autism Connex, a local charity doing awesome mahi in our community.
Throughout the week, our students have also been creating powerful posters that highlight the amazing strengths and qualities that come with Autism. We can’t wait to share some of their incredible work with you later this week.
