SOMADD is our annual community celebration of School of Music, Art, Dance & Drama – a special night where our tamariki shine!
📅 Friday 5 December
Timeline for the Evening
4.30pm
• Start arriving
• Find a spot and set up low chairs or picnic blankets (high chairs can be used but you must go to the back).
• Food available
• Raffle tickets on sale
5.15pm
• Special performance from Tūtū Kā’ika Kapa Haka
5.30pm
• Tamariki meet the teacher in charge of their act in their designated rooms
6.00pm
• SOMADD begins!
• We start with our Whakangahau and Whakataetae Kapa Haka combining to form a super group
• Performances follow from our youngest students through to our oldest
Where is SOMADD?
On the stage outside the hall, by our school quad.
What Should My Child Wear?
Each group has different costume requirements.
Teachers will send out this information via Hero or Seesaw.
What Should We Bring?
• Your whānau
• A picnic blanket or low camp chair
• Your own water (we are a water-only school and aim to reduce rubbish)

Available throughout the night — drawn during the event. Eftpos and cash available.
🍽 Food Available
• Bake sale (please drop donated baking to the school office on the morning of Friday 5 December)
• Bacon butties
• Sausage sizzle
