Board of Trustees

The governing body of Puketapu School is the Board of Trustees (BOT).

The Board governs the school within the terms of the School Charter and is responsible to the Ministry of Education and to you, the School community.

Board meetings are usually held in Week 3 and Week 8 of each term – dates and times of meetings are published on our calendar. These meetings are open to the public and only under certain circumstances will the meeting move “Into Committee”.

Elections for the Board of Trustees for the next three years will be held in September 2025.

If you would like to stand for election to our Board you don’t have to be a parent at our school, but you must have someone on the Parent Roll to nominate you. More details will be available closer to the time.
