Thinking about becoming a Trustee?
As a trustee, your role is governance, not management. That means you help set the school’s long-term vision, ensure its financial health, ensure legal processes are followed, and support the Principal. You don’t get involved in daily decisions like running programs or managing classes, that’s the job of school leadership.
Importantly, your decisions need to be for the good of the entire school community, not just your child. Your focus is on what’s best for the school in the future, not just today.
