We are delighted to be seeking two teachers to join our teaching team.
1. Design Technology Teacher
Part Time (0.6 FTTE) Permanent
Are you passionate about inspiring creativity and innovation?
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis.
The Design Tech Teacher will:
- Teach engaging and practical lessons.
- Support students in developing design thinking, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and students to create an exciting and modern D&T curriculum.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
We are seeking someone who:
- Shows our school values (Kia Māia, Kia Manawanui, Kia Kaha, Kia Ora) in their daily lives
- Is able to foster genuine relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- A qualified teacher with a passion and skills in Design and Technology.
- Strong practical knowledge of materials, such as cooking, sewing and using a laser cutter. Skills in financial literacy would be an added bonus.
- A creative, motivated individual who inspires students to achieve their best.
- Someone with excellent communication and organizational skills.
.6 permanent position starting Term 3 2025.
Days of work will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
2. Curriculum Release Teacher
Full time fixed term (Maternity Cover)
Are you passionate about a specialist subject? Do you have a special skill set you would like to share?
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our dynamic team.
This position is taking various classes over the week to provide curriculum release to teachers.
The successful candidate will be delivering specialist programmes – as decided and negotiated with the successful candidate – to enhance and grow our tamariki. A special skill set in an area such as science, music, drama or technology would be beneficial.
