Introducing Our New Board of Trustees
We are excited to introduce the newly elected Board of Trustees for our school. This dedicated group of parents will play a vital role in shaping the future of our kura and ensuring it continues to thrive for all ākonga, kaimahi, and our wider whānau and community.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance of the school. This includes setting the school’s overall direction through the development and oversight of our Strategic Plan and annual Budget. The Board also employs and supports the Principal, working closely with them to provide strong leadership and ensure our vision for student achievement is realised.
A key part of the Board’s work is to oversee the school’s performance—academically, financially, and in terms of managing our property and resources. They ensure that the school not only meets its legal and policy obligations, but also continues to be a safe, inclusive, and high-performing environment for every learner.
Importantly, the Board also represents the voice of our community and whānau in decision-making. Through this connection, they help guide decisions that reflect the values, hopes, and aspirations of the families and community we serve.
We warmly welcome our new and returning trustees:
- Paul Rauputu (Re-elected, Presiding Member)
- Hayley Adams (Re-elected)
- Meg Corin (Re-elected)
- Wiremu Wano (New)
- Samantha Collinson (New)
- Moana Te Waaka (Staff Representative – New)
- Katherine Pascoe (Principal)
We thank our trustees for stepping into these important roles and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our school’s continued growth and success.
