Today we held our very first assembly of Term 2, and what a great way to start the term! With our usual head students away, our incredible Leaders Hamuora and Daisy stepped up and did a fantastic job running the show β ka pai kΕrua!
Room 13 and Room 16 shared some amazing work theyβve been doing in class β it was awesome to see their learning in action and shared with the whole Kura.
We also said a warm farewell to Whaea Karen, who has headed off to her new role at Lepperton School. We will miss her but wish her all the best on her new adventure! 
A special highlight was our celebration of our wonderful support staff. Each member of our support team was presented with a certificate and acknowledged for the incredible mahi they do every day to support our tamariki and kaiako.
There were even a few dance and song moments to bring some fun and energy before we moved into presenting our Te Mako Matawhero Awards β congratulations to the following students who have stood out for shining bright in their learning and behaviour:
