Rimu 4 had an adventure out to Stoney Oaks Wildlife Park near Inglewood.
We saw all kinds of animals: horses and turkeys, hairy highland cattle, rabbits, goats, possums, guinea pigs and even a llama!
We got to feed some of the animals.
What a great day out! Thank you Miss Sharrock and all of our parent helpers.
Our Year 5 & 6 students joined hundreds of other Taranaki tamariki to take part in this year's Tough Kid Challenge.
What an amazing day of challenges...
...for teams and individuals!
Running, climbing, sliding...
It was hard work, but great fun.
Well done to Mr Lindsay and Mrs Haenga for their effort in the Teachers' Challenge!

Rimu 1 went to visit Mrs Paterson's farm.
She has lots of interesting things to learn about!
Mrs Paterson is a bee-keeper, so she gets her own honey. Yummy!
She also has chickens and ducks so she gets lovely fresh eggs - we found some!
She collects wool from her sheep and makes felt - which is lovely and soft and warm.
She is very careful and clever about recycling so we learned about worm farms and compost too.
Thank you Mrs Paterson! We had a wonderful day.

The Year 5 & 6 students were away on camp, so the Year 4s had some adventures of their own.
Today we biked from Puketapu School to the Port, along the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway.
We had an amazing day!
Thanks so much to all the parents who biked along with us.
This year our Year 5 & 6 students went to Te Wera.
What an adventure! Challenges, teamwork, water, mud, hills... and no cell phone coverage!
What an amazing time we had. Huge thanks to Mrs Murphy and to all the parents and staff who came along and made our time so special.
