Assembly Highlights

Today’s assembly was awesome – led as always by our amazing leaders Summer and Dylan!

We celebrated the achievements of our Rep Basketballers – Ava Falaniko, Taine McKenna, Lyric Falaniko, and Yasiin Falaniko

Room 3 were super brave, getting up to show us their artwork and talk about what they’ve been learning. Then Summer Wilkinson from Room 13 shared some of her wonderful writing with us – ka rawe!

During award time, we caught up on a couple of 1st place Cross Country awards from last assembly – congratulations to Sione Tuipulotu and Sarah Douglas-Jenkins!

We also gave out our first Te Mako Matawhero Awards for the term – huge congratulations to:

To finish off, we celebrated our Cross Country sponsorship superstars!

A huge well done to Sophie and Jacob McGovern, who raised the most, they both received a voucher and first pick of a ball.

We also gave away 50 spot prizes to tamariki who brought back their sponsorship forms – there were lots of big smiles and happy faces!

A massive thank you to our Home and School team for organising all the awesome prizes and balls.

And last but not least – congratulations to Room 9 (Whaea Kelly’s class), winners of the pizza party!
