Assembly Highlights!

Today we had a fantastic assembly, led confidently by our amazing hosts Summer and Kayden, with a big shout-out to Daisy, Dylan, and Chayse who worked hard behind the scenes to make it all run smoothly. It’s so cool giving these responsibilities to our students and watching them grow as the year goes on!

We began with our karakia, national anthem, and school song.

We then dived into the top stories of the week, hearing all about National Young Leaders Day (NYLD), which some of our Year 8s attended last week and an interschool update. They all showed Kia Māia by getting up and performing a dance they learned — and the whole school joined in!

Room 7 shared some beautiful artwork, showcasing their creativity and talent.

Then it was time to celebrate our Te Mako Matawhero award recipients — a huge congratulations to:

We wrapped up with some awesome music, singing, and lots of smiles as each class exited. What a way to end the week!
