End of Term Assembly Highlights!

What an epic way to wrap up the term at today’s End of Term Assembly! A huge thank you to our amazing student leaders Summer Wilkinson and Dylan Bublitz for running the show so smoothly, and to Daisy Pascoe, Chayse Hodson, and Zia Azad for all their mahi behind the scenes πŸ‘
πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ We kicked things off by celebrating our Interschool Swimming award winners – ka rawe, team!
🧩 Next up, we showcased some of the incredible Autism Awareness and Acceptance posters created by our talented tamariki. Big congratulations to our winners Hamuora Adams and Taine McKenna, who will enjoy a special lunch with Whaea Alisha today. Finalist posters are proudly on display in the school office – go check them out!

πŸ“š We were lucky to have Sensei Shane gift us one of his awesome books – congrats to Bailey Stevens for winning it!
🌟 A huge shoutout to Room 6, Room 7, and Room 12 for their awesome class presentations – so much talent on show!
😭 We also said a heartfelt farewell to Mrs O, who finishes at our kura today to begin her new role as Principal of Lepperton School next term. After some beautiful speeches and photos, the school performed a moving haka – what a special moment ❀️
πŸ… Then it was time for our Te Mako Matawhero Awards, recognising these outstanding students:

Our ever-popular Student of the Day Draw didn’t disappoint – 10 winners per Whānau group got to pick their prizes from the trolly!
🍦 And finally… KIWI Whānau took out the top spot for the most Student of the Day tickets and celebrated with a well-deserved ice block treat!
